YMCA of the Twin Tiers - Nondiscrimination in Services

Admissions to YMCA of the Twin Tiers programs, the provisions of YMCA services and the referrals of members and program participants shall be made without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, * ancestry, national origin (including limited English proficiency), age, or sexual identity.

YMCA program services shall be made accessible to eligible persons with disabilities through the most practical and economically feasible methods available.

*Disability is defined to mean the physical or mental impairment which substantially limits one or more major life activities.  Specifically, a physiological disorder or condition, cosmetic disfigurement or anatomical loss affecting one or more of the following body systems: neurological; musculoskeletal; special sense organs; respiratory, including speech organs; cardiovascular; reproductive; digestive (including medically necessary dietary restrictions); genitourinary; hemic and lymphatic; skin, and endocrine or a mental or psychological disorder, such as mental illness, and specific learning disabilities.
